Halloween Weekend

We had such a great Halloween! It started off on Saturday when we went to a Balloon Glow at a local stadium that also had games and trick or treating. Asher was so excited about going, especially when he got to wear his Woody costume a day early.

On Sunday, we went over to my parents' house for lunch to celebrate my brother, Francisco's, 17th birthday. We all enjoyed ourselves, and this was one of those occasions that, not long ago, I would just be hearing about from my mom. It is nice to live here and be able to attend all the family functions that we usually miss out on. We also got a picture of all the cousins (Grace is wearing the outfit Asher wore for his first Halloween).

And then Sunday night was trick or treating, of course. Asher could not wait and kept asking and asking to go. When we finally headed out, he was just bursting with enthusiasm. I mentioned how shy he had been last year when it came to saying, "Trick or treat!" After hearing the story, Asher responded with, "I'm not shy anymore!" And that was very true. He was quite personable and friendly with everyone and thoroughly enjoyed himself.Definitely our best Halloween yet!
