Soccer Boy

 Asher has really gotten into sports over the last year (his dad's dream come true!). He loves playing soccer, basketball, baseball, and even some football. We have a basketball hoop, and he is always begging someone to play a game with him. And he loves to play soccer either outside or upstairs in the evenings and have the bedrooms be the goals. He's definitely become obsessed and wants to play game after game...after game! We love how much he is into sports, even if it's a little exhausting for us!

So it's no surprise that he's been asking to play on a soccer team for quite a while now. And we were definitely feeling like he was ready for the next step - you know, where he could do a full practice/game and maybe be satisfied and worn out for once!

The first practice was a little intimidating for him and he hung back for a bit, but halfway through, he was right in there and having the time of his life. When we got home, he said he wanted to go back and practice some more! So much for being worn out, ha.

 And it's really fun watching him play on a team and start to really learn about soccer and watch his skills develop.

And Ava loves running around the park during his practice and games. No surprise there since this girl loves being outdoors. She will also kick the ball around with Eric, and she actually does a pretty good job.

Asher is already talking about the other sports he wants to try next, so I think between the two of these guys, we'll be staying busy for quite a while!
